About Us

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Youth Lacrosse Club was formed in 2012 by Brian Kluth, Craig Gyory and Jon Philipp. The Club fielded a Middle School Team in 2013, added a Youth Team in 2014, and a Bantam Team for 2015 spring season. The Club joined the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Organization in 2014.

The Club is community based, and is a Member of the Cuyahoga Valle Youth Organization. The Middle School Team is closely affiliated with the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School and the teams play their home games on the BBH High School turf and fields at the Brecksville and Broadview Heights Recreation Centers.

The Middle School ,Youth and Bantam Teams are open to any child residing within the BBH School District and in neighboring communities that are not supported by a community based lacrosse club.

The Club was comprised of 82 young men in the Bantam, Youth and Middle School Divisions for the 2016 season and expects to increase its membership to 95 players for 2017. The Club's philosophy is to promote the sport of Lacrosse and encourage development of fundamental skills in a fun environment with coaching through positive reinforcement. Quite simply, the measure of success for the Club is the number of players that continue with the sport.

The Club is run by an Executive Committee with guidance from a Parents Advisory Committee. The Executive Committee is comprised of Jon Philipp, Brian Kluth and Gary Vidovic. The Parents Advisory Committee is comprised of Doug Callahan, Theresa Raffin, Angie Racine, Jen Kunka and Ellen Kramer as well as the Executive Committee Members.
